Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager in the Twin Cities area to oversee large-scale earthwork and site development projects . The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in excavation, grading, and site utilities, with proven skills in estimating, scheduling, and managing multi-million-dollar projects . Experience with Agtek or similar earthwork takeoff/estimation software is highly preferred. Project Manager -
Earthwork Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of earthwork and site development projects from preconstruction through closeout. Lead estimating efforts using Agtek and other tools to prepare accurate takeoffs, bids, and cost models. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial reporting to ensure successful delivery. Oversee field operations, subcontractor coordination, and equipment management on large-scale projects. Collaborate with owners, engineers, and municipalities to address scope, permitting, and design issues. Prepare and process RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and progress reports . Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards . Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff and project engineers.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent field experience. 5+ years of project management experience in earthwork, excavation, or heavy civil construction. Strong background in estimating and project financial management . Proficiency with Agtek (preferred) , as well as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training (preferred).Why Join Us:
