Job Description
Project Coordinator The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, procurement, and execution of projects. Strategically aligning resources for successful completion of projects from start to finish. With a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively develop a project workflow and manage priorities to promote the highest level of customer satisfaction. This position directly reports to the VP of Sales. Project Coordinator
- Lead and coordinate projects of varying sizes and complexity, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, goals, deliverables, and resources requirements.
- Implement effective project coordination methodologies and tools to drive project success.
- Set up Jobs
- Gather all information needed for a job o Production / Shop Drawings o Backsplash, edge, etc.
- Fill out Job Order Forms with all pertinent information for a job
- Send material orders to purchasing for timely deliverables of product
- Communicate lead times, template dates, install dates, and any other important information with the customer regarding the project
- Create weekly CNC cut list pertaining to upcoming projects due
- Maintain and update our job schedule spreadsheet and determine the most efficient sequence to process jobs
- Summarize jobs to handoff to accounting for customer invoicing upon completion
- Perform other duties related as assigned by manager within the scope of practice.
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety Compliance- Working knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safe operating procedures.
- Well organized with ability to problem solve using critical thinking.
- Must adhere to the organization's Safety AWAIR program.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Office, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, etc.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Degree in Business Administration or related field of study, preferred.
- 2 + years of experience in project management.
- Previous experience using Great Plains Microsoft Dynamics software, preferred. Physical Demands-Must be met with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and sedentary work on a computer.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel- ability to travel to job sites and customer visits as necessary
Work Conditions:
- This job will spend the majority of time working in an office setting.
