Position Summary We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to manage and coordinate our Building Information Modeling processes on electrical projects. You'll build and maintain BIM models, run clash detection and quality checks, and work closely with project teams and other trades to keep projects accurate and on schedule from design through installation. Key Responsibilities
- Model development: Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems.
- Project integration: Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM processes into day-to-day project delivery.
- Standards & compliance: Ensure BIM models and processes comply with industry standards and company protocols.
- Quality control: Conduct quality checks and audits on BIM models, including clash detection and resolution.
Coordination:
Coordinate with other trades and disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.- Support & training: Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and processes.
Planning:
Assist in developing BIM execution plans for new projects. Qualifications Required- Journeyman electrician's license.
- Proven experience in BIM coordination.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Preferred
- Broader construction industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Hands-on familiarity with clash detection and resolution workflows.
