Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a Project Management Specialist in Maryland Heights, MO and/or Hazelwood, MO. In this role you will test software for the F-15 Mission Planning systems.
Position Responsibilities:
Understands dependencies and enablers for a product to be able to prioritize Run team demos and retrospectives Ensures Iteration goals are defined Understands stakeholder requirements and priorities Work under general direction Runs Iteration planning, and backlog refinement meetings Ensures team is performing ceremonies in a value added manner - keeps people on track, moving through different processes (scrum, planning, retro) Supports the product owner Runs team meetings including daily standup Facilitates setting team goals for a PI and iteration and helps ensure their completion Eliminates Impediments and blockers. If there is one, the scrum master should be the first line to do something about it or know who to contact to help Protects the team from uncontrolled scope creep, stops additional scope from entering an iteration based on capacities and priorities (It's okay to say NO) Digs through Backlog daily to ensure dev team is not impeded and is updating activities Runs the Team Iteration Demos (schedule, invitation, host meeting) Runs PI Planning Breakout sessions Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's Degree Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance 3+ years of experience planning, leading, organizing and motivating multiple project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering software projects 3+ years of experience implementing and coaching software development teams and business organizations in agile methodologies Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience OR 10+ years of related, relevant experience Technical background/understanding of software development lifecycle. Sufficient level of experience to provide credible leadership to development teams Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building Analytical, planning and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands and being able to do prioritizations An inspiring and positive approach is wanted to find a way and challenging team and customer Experience on/with military fighter platforms

Pay & Benefits:
