Join a company with over 30 years of experience and innovation-Merric Millwork and Seating is a leading manufacturer in the millwork industry, proudly expanding our capabilities to include custom upholstery, metalwork, powder coating, and stone. We collaborate with clients across the country on a wide range of projects in the hospitality, restaurant, sporting venue, and senior living industries. The Senior Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan projects for Merric MillworkSeating. They will oversee projects with senior managers, sales, estimating, and engineering to ensure that all the customers' expectations are in line with our company policies and goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Full project life cycle ownership Successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment. Oversee a team of Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. Manage project scope and changes. Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization. Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution. Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration, or litigation, as needed. Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues. Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables. Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication. Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Travel up to 25%
Education and Experience:
7+ years' experience in project management in the construction industry Bachelors degree in related discipline preferred. 5+ years' experience in custom architectural millwork, preferred. PMP certification or willing to complete within 3 years of employment
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times. Must be able to safely navigate a construction site.
