R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (R.M. Chin) is seeking MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Project Managers with experience in specialty trades. Individuals will be engaged with both airline and airport-funded projects. In addition to the planning / design and construction responsibilities an acute awareness of airline functions and operations is required. Interaction with station managers and user groups will be required. Airline experience is preferred.
Qualification Requirements:
Education - bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, civil engineering, or highly-related discipline preferred. Experience - 7+ years, must be relevant experience. Experience with preconstruction Prior experience with Bid package procurement Prior experience managing trade contractors experience managing multiple construction projects. Project scope / budget preparation. Some travel will be required. Strong problem solving and change management skills. Excellent communication skills. Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to acquire new responsibilities and skills, and work in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for understanding the overall project / program scope and managing the assigned project or group of projects. Efforts will entail the planning, design, implementation, cost control, quality functions, and project closeout. Stakeholder coordination and strong communication are also key roles.
Key Competencies:
Strong problem solving and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks. Pro-active and takes initiative.
Job Offer:
Competitive base salary between $140 - 180K, depending on project assignment, experience, skills, and location. Annual bonuses are based on individual and company performance. 401K yearly profit-sharing contribution. PTO. 11 paid holidays, plus 2 floating holidays. Parental leave.
