Job Description:
Great opportunity for a Project Manager to work for an American manufacturing leader located in Greenwood, MS. Our client is a premium product manufacturer looking for a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through the New Product Development (NPD) process-from concept to market launch-ensuring projects meet timeline, budget, and quality targets Responsibilities Planning and Execution Manage project development from initiation to closure. Maintain a project schedule to identify and define critical milestones and activities necessary to achieve. Ensure alignment of project scope with business objectives and product strategy. Work with project sponsor, stakeholders, and departmental team leaders to complete NPD Tollgate deliverables including business case, commercialization plan, scope, design and technical solutions. Team Leadership Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders and holding members accountable. Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis. Tactfully navigate the product development team balancing the product requirements of commercialization, marketing, visual brand identity, technical functions and features, quality assurance, safety, service and manufacturability. Risk and Issue Management Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle by managing risks, scope changes, and resourcing needs. Determine if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete project plan. If required, recruit and manage appropriate staffing resources. Interface with vendors and procurement team to eliminate gaps and communicating needs critical to the success of the product. Post-Project Activities and Continuous Improvement Determine how results will be measured throughout the project and complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved. Contribute to the enhancement of tools and best practices of the PMO. Safely crash unsuccessful or re-prioritized projects. Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion. Qualifications 3+ years of related Project Management Experience. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant field Strong analytical skills and proficiency in software tools such as or like:
Engineering/PLM:
3DExperience, Smarteam - ENOVIA;
Enterprise:
Oracle EBS, Infor;
Collaboration/Analytical:
Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams;
Project Management:
Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, Etc. Knowledge of Bill of Material, Product Costing, and Engineering Change Management. US Citizen or Green Card Holder
