Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION A
Project Coordinator monitors projects to ensure that all prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Also coordinates all aspects of assigned projects among the various disciplines such as craft support, maintenance, subcontractors, management and customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS 1.
Follows schedule to prioritize work items. 2. Coordinates with management to identify and maintain required BMR craft and subcontractor manpower requirements. 3. Provides daily written turnover to ensure Bollinger executes the project in accordance with the project's contract. 4. Ensure accurate and complete records are maintained. 5. Ensures that aims, goals, or objectives for specified project are accomplished in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitations, and budget conditions. 6. Ensures that all team members understand the scope of the project as well as what they are individually responsible for by the direction of Project Manager and/or Project Superintendent. 7. Communicates with management regarding team member responsibilities with respect to job function throughout the different phases of the project cycle. 8. Must follow all Company policies and procedures, including those relative to employee safety, environmental policy, ethics policy, and the principles of our quality system. 9. Other duties assigned or requested by Management. 10. Works overtime as required. Reports to work daily and on time.
MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1.
Production shipbuilding related field preferred. 2. Outstanding leader, motivator, and communicator. 3. Good human relations and management skills. 4. Knowledge of basic computer software (i.e., Microsoft Office). Knowledge of all phases of marine fabrication and construction.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
(YEARS) 1. Two (2) to five (5) years of management experience and two (2) to three (3) years of similar experience in shipbuilding or related field preferred.
