Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Capital Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the successful execution of capital projects across the NMHS healthcare organization. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed capital schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring that all capital project milestones are met in alignment with strategic goals and operational priorities. Working closely with the Capital Manager, Capital Buyer, and other stakeholders, the Coordinator helps translate project scopes into actionable plans, identifying dependencies, tracking progress, and proactively addressing scheduling conflicts or delays. The role requires a strong understanding of supply chain operations, project planning methodologies, financial general ledgers, and healthcare-specific requirements to ensure that capital investments are implemented efficiently and effectively. The Capital Coordinator is expected to utilize ERP systems and capital benchmarking tools to manage data, generate reports, and support decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. This includes maintaining accurate documentation, assisting with budget tracking, and facilitating communication between departments, vendors, and leadership. Success in this role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a background in healthcare supply chain or finance and a passion for improving operational outcomes through thoughtful planning and coordination.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining capital project schedules and timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of capital project components.
  • Track project milestones and report progress to the Capital Manager.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain documentation and records in ERP systems.
  • Analyze data using capital benchmarking tools to support decision-making

policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Complies with applicable local, state, and federal procedures, guidelines, regulations, and laws.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Associate's Degree In Business, Supply Chain, or related field.. Required Or
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 4 years of experience in the supply chain or finance field, preferably in healthcare.. Required Or Licenses and Certifications

  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication collaboration and delegation skills
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must have working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems and synthesizing data into comprehensive exception reporting on daily, weekly, monthly cadence as required
  • Must exhibit a high level of initiative, accuracy, diplomacy, and self-direction.
  • Must effectively and efficiently organize and drive successful completion of data insight as well as collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Must exhibit and promote integrity in the workplace
  • Must consistently complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
