Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a driven and experienced Rebar Sales & Project Manager to join our team. In this dual-function role, you will be responsible for growing our rebar and reinforcing steel business through active client development while managing the full project lifecycle - from quote to delivery. This is a high-impact position ideal for someone who thrives in both a sales environment and fast-paced construction supply setting. Sales Prospect and develop new accounts in the construction, general contracting, and structural fabrication markets. Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, subcontractors, and fabricators Prepare and present competitive bids, quotes, and proposals for rebar and related products. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to close deals. Monitor market pricing, material availability, and competitor activity. Project Management Oversee rebar projects from order entry through final delivery, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution. Coordinate with estimators, purchasing, and operations teams to fulfill project requirements. Review blueprints, shop drawings, and material takoffs to ensure accuracy. Track and manage project schedules, material procurement, and delivery logistics Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Resolve field issues, delivery conflicts, and customer concerns promptly. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in rebar, structural steel, or construction materials sales Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings and rebar schedules Strong knowledge of rebar grades, CSRI standards, and industry specifications Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Proficiency with CRN tools, Microsoft Office and order management software Valid drivers license and ability to visit job sites as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience with estimating software (e.g., Tekla, On-Screen Takeoff) Familiarity of mill certifications and fabrication shop processes Existing relationships within the regional construction or fabrication market Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field Work Environment This role is primarily office-based with occasional travel to customer sites, job sites, and fabrication facilities. Candidates must be comfortable working in both professional office setting and active construction environments. Some regional travel may be required.

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
