Project Manager and Director of Operations Are you the person who keeps projects moving, spots problems before they become expensive, and isn't afraid to get involved on-site? Ishita Interiors is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help bring luxury residential design projects to life across the Greater Asheville area. This is a hands-on project role , not a desk-only coordinator position. You'll work alongside the Project Manager, design team, contractors, and trades to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and up to standard.Compensation:
$60,000 - $65,000Responsibilities:
Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and trades Help manage project schedules, deadlines, and dependencies Support construction bidding and review contractor proposals Track budgets, change orders, and project documentation Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress Review plans and specifications and flag potential issues Help solve delays, scheduling conflicts, and site challenges Support quality control, punch lists, and final project delivery Keep clients and internal teams informed throughout the projectQualifications:
3+ years of experience in construction, remodeling, interior design, architecture, or project coordination Comfortable working with contractors and trades Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, bids, and change orders Able to read floor plans and construction documents Highly organized with strong attention to detail A proactive problem solver who looks for solutions Confident communicator who can hold people accountable Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Located in or near Greater Asheville, NC Growth Path We're not looking for someone who wants to stay in an assistant role forever.
