Job Description

Project Coordinator - Residential Construction Our client is an established and growing residential construction company focused on new home construction and renovation projects . They are looking for a highly organized Project Coordinator to provide day-to-day support to the construction team and ensure projects stay organized, on schedule, and moving forward from the initial permitting phase through completion. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of the residential construction process and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep documentation, permits, communication, and project details organized. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the residential construction process. Coordinate and monitor residential building permits , including applications, required documentation, approvals, and communication with local municipalities. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project/build packets for construction teams. Organize plans, permits, selections, specifications, contracts, and other project documentation. Serve as a key point of communication between the office, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and municipalities. Assist with maintaining project schedules and tracking important deadlines, approvals, and outstanding items. Keep project files, records, and databases accurate and up to date. Follow up on missing information, documentation, and approvals to help prevent project delays. Assist the project team with day-to-day administrative and coordination needs. Help ensure projects remain organized and properly documented throughout each stage of construction. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in residential construction, construction administration, project coordination, or a related field. Previous experience working with residential permitting is strongly preferred. Familiarity with construction documentation and build/project packets is a strong plus. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong follow-up skills and the ability to stay ahead of project needs. Comfortable communicating with contractors, subcontractors, municipalities, vendors, and internal teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office , including Excel and Outlook. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment and collaborate with both office and field personnel.
