Position Summary This position will manage a PCORI-funded clinical trial in people with advanced chronic kidney disease. Tasks will include creation of study specific materials, editing of scientific writing, engagement of project stakeholders, cross-institutional and large scale meeting coordination. This position will help the study team with other research related activities as needed, including but not limited to participant screening, collection of research samples and clinical data, and data entry. All requirements for humans subjects research must be kept current. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Management Preferences Course work in Public Health, Research, or Health Administration. Experience with research in some capacity Experience with kidney or dialysis-related research Motivated to meet project goals and timelines Proficient at basic computer skills and data entry Special Physical/Mental Requirements Ability to travel to multiple dialysis units and nephrology clinics within a 75 mile radius of UNC.
