$40-$55/hour, depending on experience About CATLIN For more than 40 years, CATLIN Engineers & Scientists has delivered environmental, geotechnical, and drilling solutions across the Southeast. We're expanding our MCAS Cherry Point, NC team and hiring a licensed professional to lead our environmental projects in the area. Position Overview We're seeking a licensed engineer or geologist to manage environmental projects in the MCAS Cherry Point area.
This is a management role:
you'll steer projects from schedule and budget through technical delivery and client relationships, keeping a skilled field and technical team aligned and on track. Responsibilities Provide overall project management and administrative support to keep projects on schedule Deliver technical direction and oversight to the project team Track budgets and schedules and plan personnel and resource needs Maintain documentation supporting monthly progress reports Lead a recurring client call covering technical progress, financial status, open items, and timeline Qualifications BA/BS in engineering, geology, or a related science, with 4-7 years of applicable experience NC Professional Engineer or Geologist License (or ability to obtain within one year) Current health and safety training Experience managing full remediation projects, including cost estimating and budget control Track record of scoping and developing site remediation approaches Ability to serve as the on-site technical authority Strength in data analysis and interpretation, supervising hydraulic tests, and drafting technical report sections Experience supervising junior professional and technical staff Able to obtain military base access Benefits Opportunities for growth and advancement Training and professional development Paid time off Employer-paid HSA health insurance Employer-paid dental insurance Employer-paid vision insurance 401(k) program

$40.00 - $55.00 per hour
