Job Description
Project Manager Job Description The Project Manager oversees the full order lifecycle for construction-related projects, from initial intake through delivery and invoicing. This role ensures that customer requirements are accurately captured, orders are scheduled and monitored, and all project components are executed on time and to specification. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, proactive communication with customers, and diligent record-keeping in ERP and internal systems within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities Manage the complete order process from initial intake through delivery and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at each stage. Gather and confirm complete order requirements, including technical and scheduling details, before releasing orders for production. Schedule orders and monitor job progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues to keep projects on track. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, providing clear updates and resolving concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Verify pricing for accuracy and consistency with quotes and contracts, and manage change orders as project requirements evolve. Update order components and documentation as needed to reflect changes in scope, schedule, or specifications. Follow up on submittals to ensure timely review, approval, and processing, and communicate status updates to stakeholders. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, field support, and logistics, to ensure accurate and on-time product delivery. Coordinate field support visits, ensuring that on-site issues are documented, tracked, and resolved efficiently. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in ERP and internal systems, including order details, changes, and communications. Review and interpret civil engineering plans and production drawings to confirm that orders align with project specifications. Assist with estimation activities related to concrete work and construction as needed to support project planning and pricing. Participate in team meetings, share project updates, and assist with departmental support tasks as required. Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and suggesting enhancements to order management and project coordination workflows. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, project management, or construction site development. Proven experience managing multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Demonstrated project management skills within construction, construction management, or related project coordination roles. Strong understanding of construction processes, including concrete work and concrete construction. Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience using ERP systems; familiarity with Titan or a similar ERP platform is preferred. Ability to read and interpret civil engineering plans and production drawings. Ability to manage estimation-related tasks and construction documents as part of project coordination. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a construction, mechanical, or civil engineering environment. Working knowledge of CP&P products and their applications is preferred. Experience coordinating design-related information and construction documents. Familiarity with field support coordination and issue resolution in a construction or industrial setting. Comfort working with cross-functional teams across operations, logistics, and field services. Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on enhancing processes and customer experience. You will work in and around active production areas where conditions can vary with the weather and season. Standard business and safety attire appropriate for a concrete plant and industrial environment is expected, in line with company safety and operational guidelines. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
