This role serves as the central point of coordination between ownership, clients, site teams, and subcontractors. The Project Manager maintains full accountability for project performance and is responsible for driving successful execution from initial planning through final completion and closeout. Core Responsibilities Project Oversight & Lifecycle Management Oversee the entire project lifecycle from pre-construction through completion Ensure projects are executed according to company standards, schedules, and financial expectations Maintain full accountability for project performance and outcomes Scheduling & Timeline Management Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules to ensure timely delivery Ensure schedules are realistic, detailed, and actively managed Identify delays early and implement corrective action Communicate schedule changes to leadership and stakeholders Budget & Financial Management Manage project budgets and job costing to ensure financial accountability Monitor expenses and identify cost variances Address cost overruns immediately Ensure all financial decisions align with company profitability goals Communication & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders Provide consistent updates on: project status schedule budget risks Maintain clear, professional communication at all times Team & Subcontractor Coordination Coordinate closely with Site Superintendents, field teams, and subcontractors Ensure proper sequencing and execution of work Address subcontractor performance issues promptly Maintain alignment across all project stakeholders Quality Control & Standards Ensure all work meets or exceeds company standards Monitor quality throughout all phases of construction Address deficiencies immediately and document appropriately Risk Identification & Mitigation Identify risks related to schedule, cost, quality, and safety Implement proactive solutions to mitigate risk Communicate risks that may impact project outcomes Change Orders & Documentation Manage all change orders, ensuring: proper approvals accurate pricing complete documentation Ensure no work proceeds without formal approval Permits, Inspections & Compliance Ensure all permits and inspections are completed on schedule Maintain compliance with local regulations and company policies Project Closeout & Client Sign-Off Manage final inspections and punch list completion Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled Secure final client approval and satisfaction Attendance & Availability Maintain consistent availability during business hours Be accessible to site teams, clients, and leadership Notify leadership in advance of any schedule deviations If more than 15 minutes late or unavailable, communicate via phone, email, or text Qualifications 3-5+ years of construction project management experience Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and job costing Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience with Buildertrend or similar systems preferred Work Environment Combination of office and field-based work Frequent communication with field teams and clients Requires problem-solving in fast-paced environments Performance Expectations On-time project delivery Budget adherence and cost control High-quality execution Strong communication and documentation Effective leadership and coordination Company Standard Excellence is our standard.
