Job Description
Position Summary The Assistant Project Manager - MEP supports the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of the Dallas Data Center project from mobilization through closeout, with a primary focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes of work. This role assists with project documentation, cost tracking, scheduling coordination, procurement activities, and communication with field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to help ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining DELCO quality standards. Key Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager with daily project coordination and administrative responsibilities. Support management of project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking activities. Assist with subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and procurement activities. Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting documentation. Support material tracking and project logistics activities. Assist with project closeout activities including punch lists and O&M manuals, warranty documentation, asbuilt drawings, and closeout documents. Maintain organized project records and ensure timely documentation flow. Support project mobilization activities and proactively communicate schedule or cost impacts when identified. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of construction experience is preferred. Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, missioncritical, or MEP construction projects is preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, construction management software, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fastpaced construction environment. Data center construction experience is a plus but not required.
