Position Summary:
For over 60 years Acme Sample has been a leading supplier of fabric and wall cover sampling, printed catalogs, and other marketing materials. We are currently seeking a Project/Account Manager for our facility located in High Point, NC. The position is an important part of our management team and will report directly to the President of Sales and Marketing.
Summary of Responsibilities:
The Project/Account Manager is responsible for maintaining long-term relationships and maximizing sales opportunities with assigned clients. The Account Manager also plays an integral role in new business development and holds responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed established sales goals and corporate initiatives. Act as direct link between the customer and Acme Samples to achieve or surpass client expectations. Oversee assigned customer accounts by developing a positive exchange of information between customer and Acme Samples internal departments (printing, production, etc). Effectively lead and collaborate with multiple cross-functional resources to promote total client satisfaction, accomplish project management activities, negotiate proper pricing levels and coordinate customer order fulfillment. Provides strategic input to Acme Samples leadership on competitive issues related to price and margin strategy, project specifications, inventory requirements, and other related sales and service functions. Utilizes market knowledge to grow market share, project values and revenue, as well as to assist customers to maximize their growth and innovation objectives. Actively seeks to develop new accounts within planning guidelines through assigned qualified leads or direct prospecting. Secures orders and generates sales of agreed services. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with other Account Managers to improve the sales and project management process. Key Skill, Knowledge and Abilities (KSA's): Minimum of a four-year business, sales, marketing or trade degree preferred, or the equivalent in related work experiences. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication. Strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint), Internet, email and customer relationship management (CRM) software. Exceptional customer service skills include being courteous, responsive, accurate and competent. Demonstrated attention to detail and time management skills. Prefer an understanding of the fabric and wall cover industries.
