  • 135,000 + Bonus A growing renewable energy company is looking for a Pre-Construction Project Manager to help drive utility-scale solar projects from award through construction handoff.
This person will serve as the key link between engineering, procurement, permitting, and operations while managing multiple projects simultaneously. What You'll Be Doing Own project schedules and budgets throughout the pre-construction phase. Coordinate engineering, permitting, procurement, utilities, and subcontractors to keep projects on track. Manage subcontractor RFPs, bid packages, and scope reviews. Drive permitting, AHJ approvals, environmental reviews, and utility/interconnection coordination. Identify schedule or cost risks early and develop mitigation plans. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into construction. Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, utilities, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and critical path activities. Background in permitting, utility coordination, procurement, and subcontractor management. Strong understanding of project delivery from project award through construction handoff. Experience using MS Project and other project management tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Experience Experience with utility interconnections and permitting processes in the Southeast. Previous exposure to EPC organizations and large-scale renewable energy projects. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Why Consider It?
