This position is responsible for the overall success of assigned projects, including financial performance, preconstruction planning, contract administration, scheduling, quality, client relationships, and project team leadership. The ideal candidate is a proactive construction professional who understands both the field and financial sides of project management. This role requires someone who can lead people, anticipate problems, protect project margin, maintain strong GC relationships, and hold the project team accountable for successful execution. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Leadership & Team Development a. Lead the Assistant Project Managers and Construction Managers assigned to each project. b. Establish clear expectations for project execution, communication, documentation, quality, and safety. c. Provide regular coaching, feedback, and development to project team members. d. Hold team members accountable while creating an environment that encourages ownership and proactive problem solving. e. Lead by example in professionalism, responsiveness, organization, and accountability. 2. Preconstruction & Project Setup a. Take ownership of assigned projects immediately following contract award and ensure a complete transition from estimating into operations. b. Review contracts, scopes, drawings, specifications, budgets, schedules, submittal requirements, and project-specific risks. c. Lead internal preconstruction meetings and establish a clear execution plan before mobilization. d. Manage project buyout, procurement planning, submittals, Schedules of Values, and other required project setup. e. Identify potential project risks early and establish plans to mitigate them. 3. Financial Performance & Budget Management a. Own the financial performance and profitability of assigned projects. b. Establish and maintain accurate project budgets from initial buyout through final closeout. c. Monitor project costs, commitments, material purchasing, subcontractor expenses, equipment, and other financial exposures. d. Manage pay applications, change orders, purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, and project financial reporting. e. Identify cost-saving opportunities and proactively address budget variances. f. Maintain an accurate understanding of projected final cost and margin throughout the project. 4. Project Execution & Contract Administration a. Manage multiple commercial construction projects from award through closeout. b. Maintain oversight of schedules, procurement, subcontractor performance, production, and project milestones. c. Administer project contracts and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, notices, and project correspondence. d. Identify scope changes and changed conditions early and ensure CHE's contractual and financial interests are protected. e. Work closely with Assistant Project Managers, and Construction Managers to resolve field issues, maintain production, and prevent avoidable delays. 5. Quality, Safety, & Risk Management a. Ensure work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, submittals, manufacturer requirements, and CHE standards. b. Maintain regular field presence and conduct project site visits to verify quality, progress, safety, and jobsite conditions. c. Identify financial, contractual, schedule, procurement, quality, and subcontractor risks before they negatively impact the project. d. Ensure safety expectations and company policies are consistently enforced across assigned projects. e. Develop solutions and corrective action plans when project challenges arise. 6. Client Relationships & Project Closeout a. Serve as a primary CHE representative with General Contractors and key project stakeholders. b. Maintain proactive, professional, and responsive communication throughout the project. c. Build strong client relationships that support successful projects and future business opportunities. d. Drive punch list completion, closeout documentation, outstanding change orders, and final financial reconciliation. e. Ensure projects are fully closed financially, contractually, and administratively. Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction experience with demonstrated project management responsibility.
• Strong understanding of project financial management, buyout, change orders, pay applications, procurement, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
• Working knowledge of construction contracts, plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and experience with NetSuite, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to regularly travel to assigned project sites. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience managing commercial exterior construction projects involving siding, roofing, fiber cement, ACM, AWP, specialty cladding, gutters, or related building envelope systems.
• Experience managing and developing Assistant Project Managers and Construction Managers.
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Established relationships with General Contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers within the assigned market.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Work Environment
• Primarily in-office and regular commercial jobsite visits.
• Regular travel throughout the assigned market is required.
• Requires walking, standing, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required based on project needs.
