As a Project Management Office Leads on our team in Carolina/Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/ Northeast Houston, Texas and/or our Richmond/Goochland, Virginia locations, you'll be based onsite at the client site, you'll balance multiple tasks each day like monitoring contractor safety and quality, coordinating contractor schedules and material testing, and reviewing designs. We'll rely on you to track performance, create change orders, draft RFIs and other construction documents, and identify issues you see in the field. You'll learn from the Project Manager who will guide you in the preparation of construction estimates, constructability and design revisions. You'll gain confidence as you coordinate with outside agencies, contractors and other 3rd parties regarding field activities. We'll ask you to review documentation supplied by vendors/sub-contractors to ensure compliance with client turnover protocols and then recommend necessary changes. Using your recent engineering degree, you'll also support & research design options /documents for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers. Some responsibilities will include:

Project Governance & Controls:

• Establish project governance processes and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with client, company, and project procedures.
• Maintain project management plans, execution strategies, and control systems.
• Coordinate stage-gate reviews and project audits.

Reporting & Executive Dashboards:

• Preparing weekly and monthly project reports, liaising with project department leads to ensure timely input and completeness of information.
• Consolidate project KPIs and performance metrics.
• Develop executive-level dashboards for project leadership and client stakeholders.
• Ensure data consistency across all reports.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Coordinate management meetings and governance forums.
• Ensure action items are tracked and closed.
• Facilitate communication between project leadership, client representatives, and functional teams.
• Drive alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning groups.

Document & Information Management:

• Ensure project documentation is properly controlled and maintained.
• Oversee reporting databases and project management systems.
• Support implementation of digital project management tools.
• Maintain records supporting audits and project reviews. Here's what you'll need
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• 8 + years of experience in engineering, construction or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong program management, budget management, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with standardization of methods and processes: Able to define project management frameworks, templates, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with reviewing governance compliance with project standards and provides visibility into project performance.
• Proficient in industry PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Lean) and core processes like risk, scope, and schedule management. Ideally, you'll also have:
• Supports construction managers and teams with guidance, training, and knowledge sharing.
• Tracks progress, risks, issues, and provides reports to leadership.
• Ensures projects contribute to organizational goals and supports project decision making
• Design and maintain project governance frameworks, set standards, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations .This includes balancing control with flexibility.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
