Architectural Project Manager As an Architectural Project Manager in the Bensonwood Design Group, you will support clients throughout the full design process. Bensonwood combines heritage craftsmanship with next-generation technology to create homes and commercial structures that are better for people and the planet. We specialize in customizable, standards-based architecture and offer custom design/build services for projects requiring the highest levels of energy efficiency and minimal on-site building time. Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and/or review client and consultant proposals, create internal project budgets and schedules, and maintain these throughout the life of the project.
  • Engage in professional and direct communication with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Review building code requirements, accessibility compliance, and zoning/ordinance considerations in coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and partner firms.
  • Meet with clients to guide them through the design process, including finalizing selections for plumbing fixtures, lighting, finishes, and other project details.
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal Bensonwood teams regarding project status, schedules, and design progress.
  • Coordinate project workflows across multiple internal Bensonwood teams to ensure alignment and timely progress.
  • Maintain and update standards documents, including specifications, selections, and finishes.
  • Collaborate closely with other designers on project-specific and standards-related work.
  • Manage time, communication, and documentation effectively to support multiple concurrent projects. Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in architectural design, construction, project management, and design/build environments
  • Licensed or working towards architectural licensure
  • Proactive and organized approach to project success
  • Proficient in Revit modeling
  • Degree in architecture, interior architecture, construction management, or a related field
  • Experience in sustainable design and building practices
  • Strong consultative approach with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of building codes and zoning regulations
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment Compensation & Benefits Compensation and exact title for this position will be based on skill level and experience.
