About The Role Peraton is seeking a proactive and highly organized Operations / Project Management Associate to support core business operations, coordinate key initiatives, and streamline processes across the sector. This role blends project management discipline, operational coordination, and data‑driven decision support. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, communicative, and skilled at using data, modern analytics tools, and Agentic AI platforms to improve visibility, efficiency, and workflow quality. This position plays a central role in supporting operational planning, managing schedules and onboarding activities, coordinating recurring meetings, and developing the reporting and dashboards leadership relies on for informed, timely decisions. The candidate will also leverage Generative AI and agentic workflows to synthesize inputs (documents, spreadsheets, emails, databases, etc.) into actionable, decision‑ready products. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operational activities, ensuring accuracy, continuity, and alignment with organizational goals. Support project management activities, including planning, tracking, and coordinating key operational initiatives. Partner with leadership to drive operational planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple workstreams. Develop and maintain dashboards that support workforce planning and operations by monitoring staffing levels, forecasting resource needs, tracking project assignments, and highlighting capacity gaps. Analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improved workflow and performance. Oversee data tracking, recurring reporting, and metrics that support strategic decision-making. Coordinate sector-wide onboarding, including logistics, access requests, checklists, and new‑hire readiness. Manage interview scheduling in partnership with Talent Acquisition, including first‑round and panel coordination and communication. Leverage Agentic AI platforms to automate tasks, optimize workflows, and enhance data visibility. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, validate information, and maintain process documentation. Support process improvement by mapping pain points, evaluating solutions, and implementing operational changes. Prepare regular metrics, performance updates, operational summaries, and project status reports for leadership. Qualifications 5 - 7 years of experience in operations, project management, data analysis, project management, business / HR support, or a related role with a BA/BS, or 3 + years of relevant experience with a MA/MS 9+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder‑management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.). Experience coordinating meetings, onboarding workflows, and logistics for diverse teams. Strong attention to detail and comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments. Data‑driven mindset with experience using dashboards, reporting tools, or performance metrics. Experience with data visualization software (such as Power BI) preferred. Experience using Agentic AI platforms or AI‑enabled workflow tools a strong plus. Ability to lead through change and work effectively across cross‑functional teams. Must be a US citizen. $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
