Description:
Restoration 1 New Jersey is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Mitigation Project Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the restoration industry, knows how to manage insurance claims, and can take a job from emergency response through completion while delivering an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities Manage water, fire, mold, and other emergency mitigation projects from start to finish. Perform inspections, scope losses, and develop mitigation plans. Write accurate Xactimate estimates and documentation. Work directly with insurance adjusters to negotiate and secure claim approvals. Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment to keep projects on schedule. Maintain communication with homeowners, property managers, and insurance carriers. Ensure all documentation, photos, moisture readings, and job files are complete. Monitor budgets, job costs, and profitability. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every project.
Requirements:
Qualifications 3+ years of mitigation project management experience. Extensive experience with water, fire, and mold restoration. Strong Xactimate estimating skills are required. Experience working directly with insurance adjusters and carriers. Knowledge of IICRC standards and restoration best practices. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Certifications
