Asst. Project Manager/Estimator

We are seeking an energetic, self motivated, Assistant Project Manager/Estimator to join our team in the fast paced world of commercial construction. Benco is a fast growing, multi-million dollar construction company specializing in Division 10 Specialties. You will be assisting the General Manager to start and eventually joining a team responsible for the management of multiple construction projects based primarily in the Metropolitan area. This is a full-time, mainly office based position. Perfect for someone who recently graduated with an Engineering Technology degree or is in process of obtaining one.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate internal resources and vendors. Develop a project plan to help monitor and track progress of projects. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs. Successfully manage relationships with clients. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Unique abilities provided by you Construction knowledge and experience preferred. Superior organization skills. Excellent ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally, with both your team and customers. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and general knowledge of Adobe. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Results-oriented and self-motivated. Ability to read and understand construction contracts and interpret blue prints, specifications and plans a plus.
