The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brooklyn, NY, responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning through completion. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating project schedules, managing subcontractors and internal crews, and ensuring materials and resources are delivered on time. The role involves monitoring site progress, conducting walkthroughs, addressing issues, and ensuring work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. The Project Manager will collaborate with clients, architects, and inspectors, prepare status reports, manage budgets, and support expediting processes for permits and inspections. This position requires hands-on engagement at job sites and clear communication to keep projects on track and within scope.Qualifications:
- Project coordination and leadership skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to oversee multiple construction sites.
- Experience with Expeditor and Expediting functions, including permit applications, approvals, and compliance with local regulations.
- Knowledge of Inspection processes, building codes, and quality assurance standards relevant to residential and commercial construction.
- Logistics Management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Previous construction industry experience, preferably in new builds, framing, carpentry, and interior finishes.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and field teams.
- Proficiency with basic project management tools and software; familiarity with construction documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site daily, adapt to changing priorities, and uphold safety standards at all times.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
