full-time Project Manager - Construction $125,000 - $150,000 Plus Bonus The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and successful delivery of our Construction Company projects from award through closeout. The PM is accountable for maintaining project schedules, budgets, quality standards, client relationships, subcontractor coordination, contract administration, and project financial performance while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Project Manager will lead all aspects of project administration, including subcontractor management, project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, scheduling, forecasting, cost tracking, and communication with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and municipal agencies. The PM is expected to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact project schedule, budget, quality, or client satisfaction. Our client utilizes Autodesk and Microsoft platforms, and the Project Manager is expected to be proficient in project management software and actively participate in company-wide process improvements and training initiatives. A thorough understanding of construction documents, contract requirements, public and private commercial construction practices, and project controls is essential. The Project Manager will coordinate closely with Preconstruction, Estimating, Purchasing, Accounting, Superintendents, and Assistant Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery and achievement of company objectives. The Project Manager must maintain a professional demeanor at all times and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, project partners, municipal agencies, and internal team members. The position requires regular travel to project sites throughout New Jersey and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects when assigned. Qualifications Required Minimum 10 years of commercial construction project management experience. Experience managing public-sector and/or institutional construction projects. Proven ability to manage projects ranging from approximately $5 million to $20 million. Strong understanding of commercial construction means and methods. Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and contract administration. Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client relationships. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contracts. Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey. Preferred Experience with municipal, county, educational, institutional, or government construction projects. OSHA 30 Certification. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
