Job Title:
Environmental Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to manage remedial projects at all phases of remediation, from Preliminary Assessment and Site Investigation to the implementation of Remedial Actions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Manage remedial projects through all phases, including Preliminary Assessment, Site Investigation, and implementation of Remedial Actions. Train junior staff on proper sampling techniques for soil, groundwater, soil gas, indoor air, surface water, and sediment. Review and provide feedback on data tables, boring logs, figures, and reports prepared by junior staff. Procure, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors such as drillers, geophysical consultants, remediation contractors, and laboratories. Prepare and review technical reports for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies, including NJDEP and NYSDEC. Essential Skills Proficiency in project management and remedial action reports. Experience in soil and groundwater sampling, phase I and II environmental site assessments, and site assessment. Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or a related field. Five or more years of experience with NJDEP regulations, technical guidance, and field sampling procedures. Experience in UST closures and environmental remediation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Seven or more years of experience in sampling soil, groundwater, soil gas, indoor air, surface water, and sediment. Three to five years of experience preparing reports and forms for NJDEP submissions. Three to five years of experience logging soils and overseeing monitoring well installations. Work Environment The role involves a combination of office work and on-site activities. The candidate must be comfortable working in various environments and conditions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorestown, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
