Job Description
Project Coordinator Job Description The Project Coordinator supports multiple project managers by providing comprehensive administrative and project coordination support within a construction-focused environment. This role involves working closely with teams in construction to ensure accurate documentation, efficient project administration, and timely completion of project tasks. The position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills while working with a leading organization in the elevator industry. Responsibilities Support project managers in various offices by coordinating daily project activities and administrative tasks. Assist with construction project administration, including preparing, updating, and maintaining project documentation. Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy to support project tracking, reporting, and record-keeping. Manage document control processes by organizing, filing, and updating project documents and records. Assist with processing and tracking change orders to ensure that project changes are documented and communicated properly. Support payroll-related administrative tasks for project teams as needed. Coordinate communication between internal stakeholders to help keep projects on schedule. Use SAP to input, update, and retrieve project-related information and reports. Provide general administrative support to project managers, including scheduling, correspondence, and preparation of project materials. Contribute to construction management activities by supporting project planning, tracking, and follow-up tasks. Essential Skills 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry. Experienced in general construction, HVAC, or plumbing environments. Proficiency with SAP for project or administrative tasks. Experience in project coordination or project administration. Strong administrative support skills in a professional office setting. Ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry. Knowledge of construction administration processes. Experience with document control and maintaining organized project files. Familiarity with processing and tracking change orders. Ability to support payroll-related administrative functions. Basic understanding of project management and construction management principles. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience assisting multiple project managers or teams simultaneously. Prior experience working in or with a large construction or building systems organization. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfort working with office software and digital tools in addition to SAP. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Moorestown, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
