Location:
Newark, New Jersey- Candidate must be local/commutable and able to go into the office 3 days per week.Job Description:
- Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale IT initiatives supporting utility clients and critical energy infrastructure programs.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Lead cross-functional project teams, managing scope, schedule, cost, and contract compliance while serving as the primary customer interface + Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale IT projects across the full project lifecycle + Develop and maintain project management plans, ensuring alignment with organizational and PMO standards + Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders + Establish and manage work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, and resource plans in coordination with project schedulers + Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking actuals, and reporting accruals + Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively manage issues and dependencies + Ensure requirements are gathered, documented, reviewed, and approved in accordance with established processes + Lead governance reviews and provide regular status reporting, dashboards, and executive-level communications + Monitor project progress, milestones, and deliverable quality to ensure successful outcomes •Required Qualifications•+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) + 8+ years of experience managing IT projects, including scope, schedule, and budget + PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required + Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments + Led cross-functional coordination across Workplace, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deliver identity-driven access and endpoint modernization efforts + Strong understanding of project management methodologies and PMO processes + Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership + Experience managing project financials, including forecasting and variance analysis + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated customer-facing experience + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills + Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, Primavera or similar project management tools + Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection standards •Preferred Qualifications•+ Experience supporting utility or energy sector clients + Experience managing large, complex, or multi-year programs + Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies •

Range:
______$57-$62_______ _The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions._ + Benefits (Regular, Full Time Employees): 1.
