Job Description

Summary / Objective The Architectural Project Manager oversees all phases of design and construction from project initiation through completion. This role includes supervising team members, ensuring quality and accuracy of deliverables, and maintaining strong client and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple projects or a designated client account with a high level of accountability and follow-through Review and develop construction documents based on client requirements Supervise and coordinate work performed by junior staff and drafting personnel Oversee drafting efforts, review shop drawings, and respond to RFIs Prepare and analyze cost estimates covering labor, materials, and equipment Track project progress to ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and approved plans Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies Research and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations Develop reports and presentations for client and stakeholder meetings Conduct site surveys as required Manage team performance, workload expectations, and approve timesheets in a timely manner Support leadership with additional tasks as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture or a related field At least 6 years of project management experience within an architectural environment At least 4 years of experience in retail or commercial projects preferred Strong ability to interpret construction documents and technical information Proficiency in AutoCAD with solid 3D design capability; familiarity with Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe tools is a plus Competency in Microsoft Office applications Experience developing construction documents for commercial projects preferred Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines Willingness to travel as project needs require Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Medical Equipment Planning Project Manager
