Assistant Project Manger

Job Description A leading Morris County construction firm is hiring a full-time Project Engineer to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate should possess the following: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred), Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or Mathematics Prior experience in concrete and/or civil construction Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, specifications, contract documents, and applicable regulations Proficiency with MS Office Suite, PlanSwift, AGTEK, Bluebeam, Adobe Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication A team-first mindset and a commitment to delivering quality work on schedule

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager through project setup and execution Prepare and submit initial submittals, RFIs, and construction schedules Assist with change order development and tracking Solicit pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers Help supervise daily field operations and coordinate site deliveries Document progress with site photos and daily reports Track and analyze weekly labor and equipment costs Attend and contribute to project meetings Support quality control on active jobsites
