About Wetlands Incorporated Wetlands Incorporated is a leading landscape and site construction contractor serving New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. We are known for delivering high-quality projects safely, efficiently, and with strong attention to detail. We value accountability, communication, and teamwork, and we are looking for a Project Manager who takes ownership of their work and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for managing assigned projects from start to closeout to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and under budget, in accordance with contract documents, specifications, and Wetlands company policies. This role requires strong coordination between the office, field crews, vendors, and general contractors. Key Responsibilities Project Management Manage assigned projects through all phases, including pre-construction, execution, and closeout. Ensure compliance with scope, specifications, contract requirements, and company standards. Attend and lead jobsite meetings including pre-construction, progress, and closeout meetings. Manage punch lists, walkthroughs, and final inspections. Submittals and Material Management Review project specifications and prepare submittals and material qualifications. Identify required materials per specifications and gather cut sheets, pricing, and certifications. Propose approved alternates when specified materials are unavailable. Create plant and product lists for assigned projects. Handle RFIs and RFDs as required. Procurement and Purchasing Obtain quotes and manage procurement of materials. Prepare purchase orders, ensure approvals, track spending limits, and maintain proper filing. Coordinate deliveries and pickups, confirm accuracy against orders, and manage COD payments. Track tax exemption forms and vendor acknowledgements. Maintain yard stock inventory awareness related to assigned projects. Field Coordination and Crew Support Explain drawings, scope, and daily tasks to field crews. Check in regularly with crews and ensure they have required materials, information, and support. Prepare material and paperwork packages for crews. Print and distribute drawings as needed. Conduct or support daily safety huddles, PPE compliance, and Tuesday toolbox talks. Billing, Reporting, and Closeout Prepare pencil requisitions and input billing items into Asana. Track project documentation including material certifications and closeout documents. Assist with maintenance and project reporting as required. Coordinate mark-outs and utility coordination. Meetings and Communication Participate in office project manager and specification meetings. Communicate regularly with general contractors, vendors, and internal team members. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Project Manager Team Member Responsibilities Assist the Senior Project Manager or Angelo on larger or shared projects. Meet with the Senior Project Manager at the start of team projects to clarify responsibilities and expectations. Meet regularly with the Senior Project Manager to review progress, challenges, and priorities on active projects. Qualifications Experience as a Project Manager in construction, landscape construction, or site work preferred. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong communication skills with field crews, vendors, and clients. Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana or similar systems is a plus. Valid driver's license required.
