Job Description

Summary:
Work with the construction team and contractors/vendors to ensure that the site and buildings are constructed on schedule, in accordance with plans and specifications and Woodmont Properties' quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Manage and coordinate the construction through interaction with the construction management team, contractors, and vendors. Liaison with professional consultants, inspectors, and town officials. Assist in the creation and maintenance of construction schedules for on-time deliverables. Provide schedule input to the Senior Project Manager for the master construction schedule updates. Utilize Procore schedules for individual contractor scheduling. Planning and scheduling work is expected to be performed daily, and delivery goals are expected to be preserved. Supervise contractors to ensure that they are following scopes, schedules, code standards and WP quality standards (defect-free). Supervise and coordinate the delivery of materials. Conduct thorough daily inspections of work complete and adherence to quality standards. Ensure the best possible condition and image of the buildings and site. Assist in the forecasting of contractor staffing and personnel requirements. Allocate contractors and personnel based upon construction schedules. Supervise work of WP laborers and technicians. Distribute information to contractors and vendors, including drawings, layouts, submittals and specs. Ensure job site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations. Document construction activity by contributing to Procore (daily logs, photos, punch lists, etc.) Ensure proper care for vehicles, equipment, tools, machinery, etc. Ensure that projects are properly secured and protected daily. Participate in the review of invoices and change orders and recommend action to the Senior Project Manager. Assist in resolving disputed issues. Participate in Woodmont Properties meetings and contractor meetings.

Computer literacy, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel. Working knowledge of Procore. Able to follow systems and procedures. Respects schedules and budgets. Understands construction techniques and systems. Able to work with a team and perform assigned tasks.
