Position SummaryThe Project Controls Analyst 3 supports project execution by implementing and maintaining effective project controls systems, including cost, schedule, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes. This role is responsible for performing cost estimating, analysis, and control activities, as well as developing and monitoring project schedules to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. The position contributes to successful project delivery by identifying trends, resolving complex issues, and providing actionable insights to management. Working independently and collaboratively, the Project Controls Analyst 3 helps drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across project functions.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform cost estimating, cost analysis, and cost control activities to support project planning and executionDevelop,maintain, andmonitorproject schedules, ensuring work is completed on time and aligned with project objectivesSupport and implement Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and project controls processesIdentifycost and schedule trends and provide recommendations to management for corrective actionsSupervise and provide technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning and scheduling activities, as delegatedPrepare and deliver detailed,accurateproject status reports and analysesCoordinate with project teams to support organizational and administrative project activitiesResolve complex project control issues using advanced analytical and problem-solving techniquesRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Experience in project controls, including cost estimating, cost control, scheduling, and analysisExperience supporting or implementing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processesProficiencywith project controls and scheduling software and standard business applicationsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionStrong communicationand organizational skillsAbility to work through problems quickly and effectively and define a clear path to resolutionPreferred QualificationsPostgraduate coursework or advanced degree in a related fieldExperience serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM)Advanced knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, and forecastingExperience with engineering and construction project environmentsKnowledge of supervision, personnel administration, and training practicesAdvanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong ability to work independently and lead or coordinate team activitiesWhat We OfferBGI offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible full-time employees, in accordance with plan documents, including:
