Job Description
A growing company is seeking a Project Assistant to join its team in New York City. The primary responsibilities include but not limited to the following: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist in setting up jobs, creating job folders, and completing project estimating. Maintain, monitor, and organize project records and documentation on incoming projects. Coordinate and track submittals, change orders, schedules, and the distribution of updated project documents. Organize and monitor project schedules to meet deadlines and customers' needs. Report updates verbally and in written form to the management. Monitor budget and help ensure resources are used efficiently. Enter confirmed sizes of products to V6 system. Collaborate with purchasing to arrange and order materials for projects. Schedule confirmed orders for production and work with the Shipping Department to arrange the delivery. Provide a wide range of administrative support for the management and project coordinators. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications and Experience B.A degree in business administration, civil/mechanical engineering or related field Minimum of one (1) year of experience in administrative support position. Good analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Results-orientated with proven ability to plan, and priority work to meet deadlines in the fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experiences in Microsoft Project and Bluebeam is a plus but not required. Proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Outlook. High level of motivation, integrity and commitment to team and customers Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
