Driver's License The Opportunity You will take total ownership of complex, large-scale electrical infrastructure projects across New York City and Long Island for major public agencies like the MTA and SCA. Working alongside an agile and supportive team, you will ensure high-profile projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while driving technical integrity. This role offers you direct control over vital city infrastructure projects while accelerating your own career in an energetic, growth-focused environment. How You Will Make an Impact Manage full lifecycle project execution, from bidding document review to project closeout, ensuring strict compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Lead and collaborate with project teams, prime contractors, electrical foremen, architects, and engineers to maintain unified project direction. Monitor job costs, execute detailed Job Cost Projections, and manage the operations of our cost control system to protect project profitability. Process, manage, and inspect material deliveries, verifying all components meet quality control standards and strict contract submittals. Formulate and update dynamic project schedules, anticipating milestone targets and removing operational bottlenecks proactively. Oversee change order estimates, requests for information (RFIs), and monthly pay estimates to ensure accurate financial reporting and workflow. Maintain complete document control across all project submittals, transmittals, and progress reports to assure audit readiness and operational transparency. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex electrical construction projects. Proven experience executing projects with public agencies (e.g., Metropolitan Transit Authority, School Construction Authority). Deep technical comprehension of industrial and commercial electrical systems. Strong proficiency in managing project budgets, job cost analysis, scheduling, and value engineering processes. Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ProCore. Demonstrated ability to coordinate directly with field superintendents, general foremen, and prime contractors. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Background managing electrical projects and workforce dynamics.
