Job Description

We are an internationally recognized architecture and interior design firm based on Long Island, seeking a talented Architect with a 5-10 years of experience in high-end luxury residential, multifamily, commercial, and corporate interior projects. Our firm has a 45-year history of award-winning projects across Long Island, NYC, and the Hamptons, and we approach each project with a strong commitment to creative modern design and impeccable execution. The new team member should be excited by the challenge of developing and executing innovative design solutions and document sets on complex projects and working closely with an energetic team of designers and architects in a collaborative and family-oriented office environment. About the

Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized Architect who can work with a team in executing complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and managing high-end luxury residential projects as well as high-end multifamily and commercial and corporate interior projects from start to finish. Experience leading and overseeing teams of junior architects and drafts people is a plus. Candidates should have strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships, as well as deep understanding of standard construction materials, means, and methods to properly execute projects. The ideal candidate will also have the willingness and ability to teach and mentor younger architects under their supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Production of detailed construction documents for of high-end residential and commercial projects. Oversee projects, manage client relationships, manage staff. Manage project schedules, budgets, and client communications effectively. Navigate zoning and building code requirements to ensure project compliance. Perform and manage construction administration tasks for projects from start of construction through completion. Represent our firm's brand in client interactions, ensuring a high standard of professionalism.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience working in an architecture firm Professional architectural degree from an accredited college; NY State architectural license is preferred. Proven track record with luxury residential, multifamily, and commercial projects. Excellent communication skills. Strong leadership skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Strong familiarity with AutoCAD; Revit experience is a highly preferred. Solid understanding of construction materials, means, and methods, both residential and commercial Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory This is a full-time, in-office position; part-time or freelance candidates will not be considered.
