At Sign Design Group of NY (SDGNY), we've spent over 20 years helping shape the New York metropolitan area through custom architectural signage and specialty fabrication. We work with architects, designers, developers, and contractors to bring projects to life from concept through installation. Position Overview We're looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating projects, working with people, and learning new skills. In this role, you'll help support projects from start to finish while collaborating with clients and team members across the company. Training and mentorship will be provided to help the suitable candidate develop their skills and gain knowledge of the architectural signage industry. Fuel expense reimbursement is available to those employees traveling from the 5 boroughs Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initial planning through fabrication, installation, and completion.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Review project documents, drawings, specifications, and submissions to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress and help identify solutions to challenges that may impact schedule, budget, or quality.
  • Communicate project updates with clients and team members.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, including schedules, change orders, and meeting notes. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project coordination, project management, signage, fabrication, architecture, engineering, or a related industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Recent graduates and early-career professionals are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments, including occasional visits to project sites. Experience
