About Us Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) committed to delivering affordable, high-speed internet to underserved communities. We partner with municipalities, community organizations, and funding agencies to expand broadband access and close the digital divide. We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our growing infrastructure projects in Wyoming County. As Assistant Project Manager, you'll work closely with the Project Manager to ensure broadband construction projects run smoothly. You'll gain hands-on experience in project coordination, compliance, and field operations while contributing to a mission-driven organization. Key Duties & Responsibilities As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support broadband infrastructure deployment and ongoing network operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with construction, installation, and build-out of CBN's broadband infrastructure across all regions and deployment types Supporting project timelines by tracking progress, coordinating contractor schedules, and helping ensure construction milestones are met Coordinating materials, deliveries, and basic documentation needed to keep projects moving efficiently Assisting with the onboarding and integration of new network elements into the CBN platform (fiber, fixed wireless, MDU/AHCP systems, related equipment) Working closely with engineering, field operations, and network operations teams to support activations and service readiness Helping monitor network performance and supporting maintenance workflows, issue tracking, and escalation coordination Preparing and maintaining project status reports, updates, and internal documentation Attending meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items to ensure tasks stay on schedule Traveling as needed to support project sites, central offices, tower locations, vendor facilities, or regional offices Performing additional operational tasks or special projects as assigned Experience 1-3 years of experience (preferred) in project coordination or management support (construction, telecom, or broadband preferred) Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, or similar) Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or related field preferred If you are passionate about driving successful project outcomes in the construction industry and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Associate Project Manager.
