Estimator / Project Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to join our construction team. This role involves preparing accurate project estimates, managing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in construction estimating, project management, and contract negotiation, with a focus on cost control and pricing strategies. Duties Develop detailed and accurate construction estimates using Planswift and other estimating software. Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work and cost implications. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms. Manage multiple projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules. Oversee cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to maximize profitability. Coordinate with construction teams on-site to ensure project specifications are met efficiently. Prepare and present bid proposals, change orders, and project updates to stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain comprehensive documentation related to estimates, contracts, change orders, and project correspondence. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and successful project delivery. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating and project management within the construction industry. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, site management, cost control, and contract administration. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Construction site experience is highly preferred for better understanding of on-the-ground challenges. Familiarity with construction management practices, including safety standards and quality assurance protocols. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
