We are based out of Old Greenwich, Connecticut and have been in business for over 18 years, we build in most all of Fairfield and Westchester Counties. We require a Project Manager to possess three to five years of related experience, preferably on single-family, but we will consider applicants with mixed-use and multi-family experience. Of course, general knowledge of wood frame construction is a must. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee up to two projects at any given time. The "macro" view, if you will. Have a comfortable understanding of what each and every trade does and is responsible for on a project. Be the face of the project to your Clients. Communicate daily with the Construction Superintendents to help ensure the project is running smoothly and without delay. Work with the Construction Superintendents on tracking the project against and on updating the Construction Schedule. Create an agenda for each Contractor and/or Client and Architect site meeting and facilitate that meeting in the field. Assist the CM with miscellaneous tasks as required. Onboarding contractors, including making sure Parallel Construction Management has all required information from them to start work (insurance certificates, trade permits pulled, etc.) File for Building Permit Amendments with the appropriate town agencies. Working with municipalities to close out permits and get the project Certificate of Occupancy. Create the Punch list with the Client and manage it with the Construction Superintendent. Light estimating/preparation of take-offs to assist the Administrative Assistant with product orders is expected. Participate in weekly "check-in" meetings with Senior Management. This is a full-time, salaried position.
