Full Job Description Overview:
Milton CAT is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate standby power generation projects across the Northeast region. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of complex, multi-phase projects from contract award through commissioning and customer handoff. Pay Range:
$80,000-$105,000 per year. This is a salaried position.

Employee Referral Program Responsibilities:
Review project specifications and drawings to confirm alignment with sales orders and customer expectations. Prepare and submit technical documentation packages for engineering and customer approval. Coordinate the ordering and delivery of Caterpillar and third-party equipment and materials. Serve as a point of contact for contractors, engineers, utility companies, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Attend job site meetings and perform site visits to monitor progress and support issue resolution. Assist with scheduling and coordination of equipment startup and commissioning. Track project budgets, timelines, and billing milestones to ensure financial and operational success. Support compliance with
NEC, NFPA
110, and local codes and standards.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. At least one year of experience in engineering, construction, electrical systems, or a related field Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Basic understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools; familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, and construction management software such as Procore is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the region for site visits and meetings (mostly day trips; occasional overnight travel may be required). Preferred Experience Familiarity with engineering, electrical contracting, or construction project management. General understanding of electrical systems and electrical/electronic concepts including power generation, electrical distribution, and controls. Experience managing construction projects.
