Senior Project Manager -
HR Transformation Location:
Painted Post, NY Premier Staffing Solution is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional Human Resources initiatives supporting organizational transformation, HR technology, process improvement, and employee experience. This role will partner with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, Shared Services, Payroll, HRIS, IT, Finance, Legal, business leaders, and external vendors. The Project Manager will guide programs from initial planning through implementation, adoption, stabilization, and transition to ongoing operations. Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise HR initiatives and transformation programs from initiation through completion. Develop project charters, business cases, scope definitions, implementation strategies, delivery roadmaps, and success measures. Build and maintain project plans, milestone schedules, resource forecasts, budgets, and dependency maps. Establish governance structures and facilitate steering committees, executive reviews, and decision-making sessions. Monitor project health, scope, risks, issues, budgets, resources, and delivery performance. Provide clear executive and portfolio-level reporting on project status, resource demand, dependencies, and organizational risks. Support initiatives involving HRIS, payroll, benefits, compensation, employee experience, talent processes, organizational design, and shared services. Facilitate process mapping, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution-design sessions. Coordinate data mapping, testing, integrations, vendor deliverables, deployment readiness, and implementation support. Develop communication, training, adoption, and change-readiness plans. Influence stakeholders without direct authority and coordinate multiple workstreams with competing priorities. Ensure project documentation, governance, compliance, audit, and reporting requirements are maintained. Support a sustainable transition from project implementation to operational ownership. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. At least seven years of progressive project or program management experience. At least five years leading complex initiatives involving HR, HRIS, payroll, benefits, compensation, employee experience, shared services, or organizational transformation. Experience managing large, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and workstreams. Demonstrated success delivering initiatives that combine technology, process improvement, and organizational change. Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, issue resolution, budget management, resource planning, and executive reporting. Experience influencing senior leaders, functional partners, and vendors without direct authority. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheet and/or Planview, collaboration platforms, and AI-enabled productivity tools. Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a related field. Experience supporting HR technology or payroll implementations, including data mapping, testing, integrations, deployment, and stabilization. Portfolio-management experience with Smartsheet, Planview, or a comparable platform. Experience leading organizational-change, communication, training, and adoption activities. Continuous-improvement and HR service-delivery experience. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate how they have delivered complex HR initiatives on schedule and within scope, improved visibility into project risks and resources, supported successful adoption of new processes or technology, and transitioned completed projects into sustainable operations.
Pay:
$60.00 - $83.00 per hour
