This role requires a proven track record of successfully managing mechanical projects (including HVAC, piping, and plumbing) and strong organizational capabilities. As a key team member, the PM will lead the execution and delivery of assigned mechanical projects, independently managing all phases of execution while working collaboratively with Senior Project Managers and field teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional ready to take full ownership of projects and committed to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage the execution and delivery of assigned mechanical projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for assigned projects; manage the scope of work and ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Coordinate project resources, overseeing and coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the right team is in place and working effectively. Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution. Identify potential project risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with senior staff. Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution. Review and process change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Regularly report on project progress and financial status to Senior Project Managers or executive leadership. Support the training and development of Assistant Project Managers, supervising field and office personnel assigned to your projects, ensuring accountability and performance. Drive project execution, cost control, scheduling, and contract management for assigned projects. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all project phases. Resolve routine to moderate project challenges and client concerns. Represent the company in routine client and industry meetings. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5-10 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on mechanical construction projects. PMP, LEED, or other relevant certifications (desired). Proven track record of managing moderately complex mechanical projects. Solid understanding of commercial and industrial mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing), design processes, and industry regulations. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions. Ability to manage project financials, timelines, and team performance for multiple projects concurrently. Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Procore). In-depth knowledge of safety protocols, environmental standards, and compliance regulations.
Compensation & Benefits Annual Salary Range:
$95,000 - $115,000
