We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to execute the strategic procurement of facility-related goods & services, while also monitoring project spend from a cost controls viewpoint. This role serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure that all research operations are supported by high-quality materials and cost-effective, reliable service contracts.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Material & Service Requisitioning:
Manage the end-to-end material & service requisition process, ensuring all purchases comply with company procurement policies and budget allocations.
Inventory Management:
Oversee facility inventory levels, including the execution of periodic physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records, avoid overstock while maintaining necessary levels for smooth operation
Supplier Relations:
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while continuously scouting for new vendors to improve supply chain reliability and cost efficiency.
Scope Development:
Partner with facilities team members to finalize comprehensive Scopes of Work (SOWs) for service bids, ensuring clear deliverables, timelines, and safety standards are documented for third-party contractors
Vendor Performance Management:
Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for service and material vendors; conduct regular performance reviews to ensure service levels meet contract requirements and quality standards.
Operations Budgeting:
Assist in the development and tracking of the facilities operational budget; provide analysis on spend variances and identify opportunities for cost savings
Project Cost Controls:
Track project commitments, actuals vs forecast, and other project financial KPIs to support Project Managers to drive on-budget project execution Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field with 3+ years relevant professional experienceORAssociate's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field with 3+ years relevant professional experienceORHigh School Diploma with 7+ years of relevant professional experience

Relocation Assistance Provided:
YesFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,700.00 and $121,100.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
