Looking for a lifetime career? Apply today! Job Description The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Shipping Container Recapitalization (SCR) team! The newest team member will manage the scope, schedule, and cost of the M-150 Project to ensure on-time delivery of the next generation spent fuel shipping container system to replace the M-140. This work will provide the rare opportunity to be the project management lead for a new Program shipping container system from concepting through implementation. The Project Manager will provide interdepartmental integration of planning and estimating as well as monitoring the project performance across all contributing organizations to ensure successful project delivery, including owning the M-150 project management schedule, documents, and tools.

Additional duties include:

Integrate the project with the Reactor Servicing portfolio and establish and monitor project resources/budget, including providing change control and management. Provide detailed planning, estimating, and schedule management for the Shipping Container Recapitalization unit. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills Current/previous project management experience. Experience managing an integrated master schedule and risk register. Experience managing a project delivering a new reactor servicing (or similar) system. Experience leading periodic project reviews with multiple contributing organizations, for audience of company senior management and customers. Proficient with financial systems and/or budgetary processes. Pay Range $106,200.00 - $166,000.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guideline only.
