And let's be honest, to say your job is to help make coloring books is pretty cool. We are looking for Junior Project Manager/Research Assistant to join our team. Some basics about why the job is great and a point or two that might make it seem less great: 1. This is really a Jack/Jill-of-all-trades role to support the company during a time of growth. Coordinating with freelancers on product redesigns. 2. We aren't big on stress. So, while we will expect you to work efficiently and get things done, we focus on open communication and getting things done right the first go around. 3. You will have input in the operations of the company and make decisions on things that no big stuffy company would ever allow you to do. 4. We understand that people have lives outside the office. We work hard to put in place processes that allow us to get our jobs done without our lives being taken over by the job. No one who works here misses a school concert, graduation or other life event because of their job. Now, let's talk about the job requirements: 1. You need to be the type person who gets joy out of getting things done. Every day, you will a handle list of stuff. Fun stuff. Important stuff. Necessary stuff. 2. You need to nail down the details. You don't need to race through work and get things done. We need you to slow things down and get them done right. 3. We want you to be meticulous in your work. 4. Our company is casual, but we do expect professionalism and punctuality. We don't have a punch card system and we aren't going to get one. If we hire you, its because we trust you to be in charge of your own responsibilities. 5. We expect intelligence, energy, and a get it done attitude. When you have questions, you will find our team is happy to help find the answers. 6. You'll be taking on projects that you don't know how to do, and we don't know how to do. We'll expect you to research, tinker, and test out solutions to find one that works for us. Finally, exactly what you would be doing: 1. Supporting the company's CEO and Tappan-based staff on daily projects and needs 2. Coordinating with contractors, vendors, repair people, and anyone else that we need to get stuff done. 3. This will involve the use of AI tools like Claude to run reports for relevant divisions. 5. Seek ways to develop systems or automations for repeatable tasks. Unfortunately, we always find ourselves hiring when we are at our busiest. Because of the volume of responses we get, we can't reply to everyone. We're really sorry about that. But we do read every response and promise we are attempting to give them all the same level of consideration that you put into your responses.
