Job Description The Project Manager is responsible of all facets of a Product Development and / or Sustaining project of significant size and/or high complexity from ideation to industrialization. He promotes proper development process and drives momentum within a global project team. Day:
- Plan and structure the project (scope, milestones, roadmap)
- Drive execution and track progress against objectives
- Manage resources, risks, and dependencies
- Report on performance (schedule, cost, quality KPIs)
- Promote development processes and drive momentum within the cross functional project team
- Estimate project workloads and commit/hold a team accountable to the schedule, deadlines and budget
- Foster collaboration in a global environment
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and define requirements in addition to providing clear reporting and project follow-up
- Ensure quality by implementing test strategy and correct qualification What you Bring to
Safran:
- BS Degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Engineering Project Manager
- Familiar with Positioning, Navigation and Timing is a plus
- Strong fundamental project management knowledge
- Ability to drive a cross functional team without direct managerial responsibilities
- Ability to grasp technical ideas and communicate with non-technical team members
