JOB SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of precast concrete projects across the United States. This role ensures seamless communication between production, logistics, engineering, and customers to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage precast concrete projects from contract award through final delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule and budget Serve as primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, engineers, and internal teams Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate project execution Coordinate production schedules with the Sr. Project Manager & Operations to meet customer timelines and proactively address delays Monitor project costs, approve expenditures, and manage budgets to maintain profitability Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using ERP systems, Microsoft Office and Point or other similar project management tools Track milestones, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues Coordinate with logistics, including delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of product Ensure proper documentation and compliance with contract documents, specifications, and quality standards, and change orders
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent 3 - 7 years of project management experience in precast concrete, construction, or heavy manufacturing Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Project scheduling and budget management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field Experience with ERP software systems
PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Primarily in office?based role, will spend time in a manufacturing environment Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds Work in conditions that may include dust, noise, vibration, temperature changes, and outdoor exposure
